Just came across some work from Robert Missen, a 21 year old designer and illustrator from Kent! He studied BA (Hons) in Visual Arts at The University of Greenwich.
He’s got some amazing drawing and design skills and this branded piece he did for a theoretical Daft Punk tour is incredible! If you love illustrative typography I would definitely take a look at his work!

Just came across these interesting posters designed by Adri Bodor & Mark Szulovszky. The posters are a way of making something seen a thousand times suddenly a thousand times more interesting! The characters/people in the images are only shown through about 3 bubbles, leaving your mind to figure out who’s in the image.
I love how simple they are yet it’s a really clever idea and thought out well!

Yesterday I travelled to London for an interview to be a studio assistant for set designer Sarah May. Sarah studied Fine Art and university and has gone on to work on set designs for the likes of Kate Spade, Jack Wills, American Apparel and magazines such as Dazed and Confused and Wallpaper*.
It was great to meet her and get to chat to her and I have all my fingers crossed I get this internship!

After my interview I had a bit of time to kill before my train home, so I decided to go over to Somerset House to view the Sony World Photography awards. I advise anyone who’s got some time or is in London to go and view this exhibition. The photographs are unbelievable!
There are different sections such as, people, culture, lanscapes and others. One I was most interested in were the photographs taken by Helen Thompson. They were images of the last meal that the people on death row had asked to be fed. You HAVE to go to this exhibition, it is truly fantastic!
